How a multi-service clinic built search visibility from almost nothing in six months.
What results did SEO produce for this multi-service medical clinic?
Over six months against the previous six, a multi-service medical clinic grew from 14,800 to 56,100 search impressions and from 300 to 497 organic clicks, up 66%. Its average Google position improved from 33.1 to 28.3. Medical SEO specialist Muhammad Haseeb Sheikh fixed the clinic's technical access first, then built its first set of pages mapped to what patients search for. Click-through rate fell from 2% to 0.9% because most of the new pages still rank on page three. Every figure comes from the clinic's own Search Console.
This clinic offers several services under one roof, and almost none of them showed up in Google. Its technical setup, its content and its authority were all weak at once, which is the hardest starting point there is. Six months on, it appears almost four times as often in search and gets two-thirds more visits from it. Most of its pages still sit on page three, and this case study is honest about what that means and what comes next.
A multi-service medical clinic was close to invisible in Google, with weak foundations in technical setup, content and authority all at once. I, Muhammad Haseeb Sheikh, fixed technical access first, then built the initial set of pages mapped to the searches patients make: foundations before volume. Over six months against the previous six, impressions grew from 14.8k to 56.1k, clicks from 300 to 497, and average position improved from 33.1 to 28.3. The base is set; the growth phase is only beginning.
What it meant for the clinic
What did six months of foundation work buy a multi-service clinic?
Visibility it never had. The clinic went from about 14,800 appearances in Google over six months to about 56,100, and from 300 visits to 497. The visits are still modest, but each one comes from a search the clinic now has a page for, which wasn't true six months earlier.
For a clinic starting this low, the first six months are about earning Google's attention across every service. Turning that reach into steady calls is the next stage, as the pages climb from page three.
Impressions and clicks are read straight from the dashboard. They count appearances and visits, not booked patients.
01 · The starting point
Why was a clinic with several services nearly invisible on Google?
Because every layer was weak at once. Technical problems limited what Google could reach, the site didn't have pages built for the searches patients make for each service, and it had little authority to help any page rank. With several services to cover, each one competing locally, that left the clinic with almost no presence anywhere.
Foundations. When technical access, content and authority are all weak, adding more content first only spreads thin pages across a site Google can't properly read. Access had to come first, then the first pages for real searches.
02 · The execution
What did I fix first for the clinic, and why in that order?
Foundations before volume, as the constraint-first method sets out.
Technical access
- Make the site readable to Google. Technical access was fixed first, so every page built afterwards could be found and counted.
The first pages for patient searches
- An initial set, not a flood. The first pages were mapped to the searches patients make for the clinic's services, enough to give Google something relevant to show without spreading the site thin.

03 · The metrics, defined
What do the clinic's Search Console numbers measure?
They come from Google Search Console. For the numbers a practice should report each month, see the SEO metrics a clinic should track.
04 · The results
How did the clinic's search numbers change over six months?
Reach almost quadrupled and visits grew by two-thirds, while average position moved up nearly five places. The chart shows impressions lifting most in the second half of the period, most likely as the new pages were picked up.

05 · Reading the numbers
Why are most of the clinic's pages still on page three?
Because they are new, and the clinic had little authority to start with. New pages on a site that has only just become readable to Google usually enter low and climb as they gain trust and links. An average of 28.3 means most appearances are on page three, where few people click, which is also why click-through rate fell from 2% to 0.9% while clicks still rose.
The direction matters more than the level here: average position moved up nearly five places while the clinic appeared for almost four times as many searches. In the family practice case study, by contrast, fast reach growth pulled the average down; here it rose, a sign the new pages are gaining ground.
06 · The honest read
What moved the clinic, and where are the limits?
What made the difference
- Access before content. Fixing technical access first meant every new page could be found and counted.
- A focused first set of pages. Building for real patient searches, rather than publishing in bulk, gave Google relevant pages for each service.
Where this result stops
- Still page three on average. The clinic is visible now, but most appearances are too low to bring many visits yet.
- Modest absolute numbers. 497 clicks in six months is an early-stage result, shown for its direction, not its scale.
- Visits, not patients. The dashboard counts search appearances and visits, not calls or bookings.
07 · For other clinics
What can clinics starting from zero learn from this?
- Fix access before writing. If Google can't read the site properly, new pages won't count.
- Build a focused first set of pages. Cover each service with one strong page for what patients search, before adding more.
- Expect page three before page one. New pages climb; judge the first six months on reach and direction, then on calls.
- Then work on authority. Reviews, local mentions and clinician pages are what usually lift pages from page three toward page one.
